Desal Discovery Centre named a finalist in AWA WA Water Awards

Posted on 23 October 2012

The NCEDA’s Desal Discovery Centre has been named a finalist in the Program Innovation category of this year’s Australian Water Association WA Water Awards.

The awards – to be announced at a gala dinner in Perth on November 23 – recognise innovation and excellence in the technology, business and delivery of water projects in Western Australia.

Along with the prestige of being recognised ‘the best in WA’, winners of a number of the WA Water Awards will automatically be entered into the equivalent AWA National Award category.

The DDC – a unique water science attraction located at the National Centre of Excellence in Desalination Australia’s Rockingham Desalination Research Facility – is a finalist in the Program Innovation category, which recognises significant and innovative environment or sustainability programs within the water industry.

Tickets for the Awards dinner are available online from the AWA.
